Dakota Seeds - ISO will provide funding for manufacturers to hire a student intern that will help them to compile and document information to work towards ISO 9001:2008 certification. Interns will work under the guidance of and attend workshops conducted by an ISO consultant to provide a basic understanding of the process and will have access to the consultant throughout the process. Ten positions will be available. Companies will need to complete an application indicating how this intern will help them with their ISO process.
1. Intern will become a temporary employee of the company.
2. The company will select the student for the position.
3. A grant of up to $4000/intern will be available. The company must match the funding that they receive from Dakota Seeds - ISO.
4. Company is responsible for the payroll taxes that need to be paid.
5. Company agrees to pay the intern a minimum of $9.00 per hour.
7. Dakota Seeds will reimburse the company for half the wages upon completion of the internship.
8. Interns will be expected to attend 6 workshops with the consultant over a 6-month period to update the status and reinforce the next steps.
